Rendering
The title bar of the window tells you when the Drawing Window is being redrawn, and which part of the scene it is working on.
If you're editing a scene in the Drawing Window, you'll get continuous feedback; for example, you'll see a character move as you drag it. To achieve this, Director may temporarily have to use a lower display quality; it might disable some filters, omit parts of a tiled background, and/or no longer use anti-aliasing. The display is automatically updated to full quality if you pause during an edit, and when you finish an edit.
